When it comes to PC gaming, there's one thing you can pretty much expect to happen to any game – it will be modded. Whether it's a mod that makes Jaden Smith's tweets into graffiti or takes the game and turns it into an entirely new game, modders will have their way with any game they want.
The Witcher 3 is one of the games that has seen plenty of mods (with more mods yet to come).
Modder SkacikPL has been hard on a mod to make The Witcher 3 into a first person game for quite a while now. When SkacikPL first attempted to bring the mod to life, it didn't work entirely as intended. While the concept was there, it did make the game first-person, it didn't do it without a lot of extra head bobbing and movement.
SkacikPL has come pretty far with the mod, in the most recent demonstration of the mod (as seen below) a majority of the head bobbing has been fixed, letting us get a good look at Novigrad's scenery. Unfortunately, the mod doesn't work when you're in combat. The camera flies out of Geralt's head and back to third-person point of view.
That doesn't mean it's not great for simply exploring the game, however, if the combat hurdle can be overcome it would be pretty darn great (especially for VR).
