It appears Sonic the Hedgehog 4: Episode II popped up on Steam over the weekend. Well, a bug-laden version of the game did, anyway.
Gamers were quick to download and play Sonic 4: Episode II, and while Steam has since taken the upcoming game down (that sentence makes no sense, yet it makes all the sense in the world, right?), YouTube user ShadowOfRuki was able to upload a bunch of gameplay videos to his account. I watched one video, but that was it, because I really want to be surprised when I play the game.
Even though the leaked version of Sonic 4: Episode II features some nasty bugs, it's apparently the full game. That means a bunch of lucky folks got to play the entire adventure. Still, it's buggy, so meh.
It's kind of a shame for Sega that its upcoming entry in the Sonic franchise was leaked. Had it been a few levels, then maybe it would have been OK. But this is the full freakin' game! Ouch.
