Sonic & All-Stars Racing Transformed trailer highlights Wii U features

As most of you probably know by now, Nintendo's Wii U is set to release on Sunday, November 18. Nintendo has already announced an impressive 23-game lineup for launch day. One of those games is Sonic & All-Stars Racing Transformed, a game we've seen plenty of, but don't really know what to expect in terms of Wii U-exclusive features.

Thankfully, SEGA has released a new trailer that gives us a look at what owners of Sonic & All-Stars Racing Transformed for the Wii U can expect. The most notable feature is the Wii U's GamePad controller which serves as a rear view mirror, map, and weapons inventory all-in-one. The controller's motion sensor also allows for steering with the motion control as opposed to joystick.

Lastly, because the GamePad functions as a separate controller AND screen, Sonic & All-Stars Racing Transformed supports 5-player split screen as well as a 10-player online mode.

Sonic & All-Stars Racing Transformed is set to release on November 18 alongside the Wii U.
