Earlier this month Sony revealed the Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection PlayStation 4 bundle for North America; the bundle hadn't been confirmed for release in Europe until recently. Fortunately for European gamers, the confirmation of the bundles release came with a price drop reveal.
The Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection will release in two variations in Europe, the 500GB bundle and the 1TB bundle. Both consoles will be the new more power efficient PS4 model that was certified in June and they will be priced at £299.99 and £329.99, respectively.
The bundle is paving the way for an all-around PS4 price drop, as the official retail RRP of a PS4 in Europe is £349.99. This news really isn't a surprise after Sony announced plans to officially drop the price of the PS4 in Japan and China. The PS4 is dropping about $50 in price in Japan, going from ¥39,980 to ¥34,980 ($292.79). Japan's price drop falls almost directly in line with Europe's price drop and hopefully means that North America will be seeing a cheaper PS4 by the Holidays.
