Sony officially acknowledges standalone Darth Vader Edition DualShock 4

Already have a PlayStation 4, but still want to feel the power of the Dark Side? Sony officially acknowledged today a standalone version of the Darth Vader-themed DualShock 4.

For clarification, this is the same design that was previously only available as part of the Limited Edition Star Wars Battlefront PS4 Bundle. The description reads:

Have total control. The DUALSHOCK®4 wireless controller Darth Vader Edition features an all-new color scheme and everything you have come to expect from the controller that pushes the boundaries of play on the PlayStaton®4 system.

It's pretty much your standard controller with a few different colors to represent Darth Vader. The touchpad is pretty cool looking, but I'm not too crazy about the design as a whole.

In any case, Sony says this controller will be available for pre-order "soon." There's no price or release date, but I'm assuming it'll be available on or around November 17th, the day Star Wars Battlefront releases. For what it's worth, two retailers, including Amazon.es, have listed this same controller for release on November 28th.
