Sony’s Adam Boyes gifts PS4 for Reddit Secret Santa

Imagine signing up for the Reddit Secret Santa, expecting crap (because Secret Santa gifts are typically crap), and then being surprised with a Destiny PS4 Bundle and tons of other games. For one lucky Redditor, that was exactly the case.

Posting a picture of his gift on Reddit, Corl45 wrote "I'm on the verge of tears. If I find my secret Santa I'm going to kiss them, a lot."

So who was this mysterious, generous gifter?

Turns out, it was none other than Adam Boyes, Sony PlayStation's VP of Publisher and Developer Relations. Seemingly responding to the post, Boyes wrote on Twitter:

Boyes isn't the first gaming big wig to use Reddit. Microsoft's Larry "Major Nelson" Hryb often uses the site as a way to communicate with fans. It just goes to show you though, that you never know who you're really chatting with online. Some complete stranger could turn out to be someone as famous and generous as Adam Boyes. Makes me wonder what other celebrities are lurking in the shadows of Reddit.
