Everyone freaked out over the announcement of Spider-Man joining the Marvel Cinematic Universe along with a rebooted franchise. For a little over a year now Marvel has been very silent on what exactly the new standalone film will be about. All we know is the film will center around a teenage Peter Parker who is about 15 or 16 years old and that's pretty much it, even the film was untitled! Now, we have our first look at the logo and title for the film!
The upcoming Spider-Man movie will be titled 'Spider-Man: Homecoming", which was actually accidentally revealed last week, whoops! Not many more details were revealed sadly, but it won't be too much longer until we can see the web-swinger's MCU debut on the big screen when we see him in Captain America: Civil War on May 6th.
But, what does the title mean? Is it a cheeky way of them saying Spider-Man is back at home with Marvel or is it a Spider-Man movie about a homecoming dance? I seriously hope it's the former, because I am not sure if I could watch a two hour movie about Spider-Man at homecoming.
Spider-Man: Homecoming will release July 7th, 2017 and will star Tom Holland as Peter Parker/Spider-Man and Marisa Tomei as Aunt May.
