Splinter Cell: Blacklist advertised as Wii U title at GameStop

A GameStop in Ireland has advertised a Wii U version of Splinter Cell: Blacklist, Ubisoft's upcoming action-adventure title.

Splinter Cell: Blacklist was first unveiled at E3 2012 for the Xbox 360, PS3, and PC. It's due out sometime early in 2013.

Neither Ubisoft nor Nintendo have announced the game for the Wii U console, but given Ubisoft's support for Nintendo's new console, I wouldn't be surprised to see the title eventually make its way to the platform. In June, Best Buy temporarily listed the game on its website also.

The image, posted to NeoGAF, showed the Wii U version of Splinter Cell: Blacklist alongside copies of Black Ops 2, ZombiU, and Assassin's Creed 3. Ubisoft has not commented on the advertisement.
