Ubisoft has revealed the Collector's Edition for upcoming stealth game Splinter Cell: Blacklist and it sure it s a doozie. The Paladin Multi-Mission Aircraft Edition, as it's officially called, is priced at a whopping $169.99, but when you look at its contents you can clearly see why.
The bundle, which will be available for Xbox 360 and PS3 on August 20, will include a copy of the game, a copy of the 88-page Splinter Cell Echoes graphic novel, a poster, the "Billionaire's Yacht" co-op map, the Upper Echelon Pack containing the "Dead Coast" co-op map, Gold Sonar Goggles, and Upper Echelon Suit in-game items. That's not all, though! The highlight of the bundle is a radio-controlled version of the Paladin airplane that Sam Fisher and his team use as their aerial base of operations.
According to Ubisoft, The Paladin is a "custom three-channel, dual-motor plane modeled after the in-game mobile headquarters." It certainly sounds like a worthy inclusive for such a high-priced Collector's Edition. Hey, it's better than a bloody torso.
