Square Enix Trademarks Hitman: Profession

WIth Hitman being one of the franchises Square Enix received from the Eidos acquisition, Square Enix now controls its fate and it looks like Square Enix: Europe could be making another game as they trademarked Hitman: Profession on December 22, 2011.

Square Enix recently announced its new studio in Montreal and it has been working on a Hitman title, but a name for that title has not been officially announced. Hitman: Profession could easily be the name of the new project by Square Enix Montreal.

Square Enix is already working on Hitman: Absolution, which is due out in 2012, and will be released for the Xbox 360, PS3 and PC.
