Stan Lee will be a playable character in upcoming Spider-Man game

No, this isn't a joke. Stan Lee, Marvel genius and creator of some of the most classic characters in comic books, will be made a playable character in the upcoming Spider-Man game from publisher Activision and developer Beenox (responsible for Spider-Man: Shattered Dimensions and Edge of Time). Lee broke the news himself on the Addict of Fiction blog.

Lee did some voice-acting to narrate the game adaptation of Sam Raimi's first Spider-Man film, but this is his first video game appearance. The Sony video game, titled The Amazing Spider-Man, is slated for July 26, just in time for the new film's July 3 release in theaters.
