Star Citizen is free-to-play until next week

Chris Roberts and Cloud Imperium Games want more people to give Star Citizen a whirl. So for the next week, anyone interested in the infamous open world(s) space sim can give its Alpha a test flight absolutely free until next Sunday, October 30th, 2016.

The free mode will give players access to the "fast and powerful" F7C-M Super Hornet until the free trial ends. In order to gain access, you can head over to the official Star Citizen website here to create an account. Then enter the promo code FALL2016, and download the (massive) game.

Star Citizen has been undergoing a number of improvements in recent months, namely to the First Person Shooter mechanics and the seamless space to ground transition. Suffice it to say, Star Citizen is a technical marvel.
