Spoiler alert (not really), Darth Vader is going to be in Star Wars: Battlefront 2. Given that he'd leave an elephant-sized chasm of nothingness were he to be omitted, especially after being in the first game, EA and PlayStation have released a small teaser that features the former Jedi doing very Vader-like things.
Here it is:

As you can see, Vader can force-choke enemies and hurl his lightsaber as a sort of boomerang, as he did in the first game, while his ability Focused Rage allows him to enhance his durability and damage output. Focused Rage is useful for keeping Vader going for long stretches at a time after having his health dwindled down, so strategic use of the ability will reward players with a mountain of kills.
Like the other Heroes and Villains, players can customize Vader to their liking via Battlefront 2's unlockable Star Cards. Vader's best asset is his Defense, so augmenting that stat with Defensive Star Cards, and then, in turn, enhancing those Star Cards could make him an unstoppable force.
Star Wars: Battlefront 2 releases on PC, PS4, and Xbox One on November 17th, 2017.
