With Disney planning yearly Star Wars movies through 2021, there's a lot of room for Star Wars-themed games to release alongside them. We already know of a few that are in production (the Visceral game and the DICE game), but there are new details on one of them.
Star Wars Battlefront 2 will be making its release around Fall 2017, according to reports. Polygon listened in on an EA earnings call where CFO Blake Jorgensen said that Battlefront 2 was coming "a year from now" and that the developers were "working very hard on making sure that is an extremely deep and engaging offering."
We already knew that Battlefront 2 was coming, it wasn't a secret. Jorgensen himself revealed that it would feature movie content/tie-ins, but we never knew when to expect it. At least now we do!
