Earlier this month,Star Wars Battlefront was updated with the Battle of Jakku DLC, which made two new maps and a new game mode available to players. The Battle of Jakku DLC is said to take place 30 years before Star Wars: The Force Awakens and directly after the end of Return of the Jedi.
With Battlefront's link to The Force Awakens in mind, EA and DICE have announced a Double Score Weekend for Star Wars: Battlefront. Sure, Battlefront's matchmaking could be considered horrible by some, but a Double Score Weekend is a great way to cash in on the Star Wars hype.
The Star Wars: The Force Awakens Double Score Weekend is active between December 18, 1:00 AM PT and December 21, 1:00 AM PT.
If you haven't boot up Star Wars Battlefront recently, you'll be in for an update. The Xbox One, PS4 and PC have all been updated with a patch nerfed Boba Fett, buffed AT-ATs and tweaked some weapons.
