Star Wars Battlefront developer suggests gameplay reveal will be unbelievable

"That is actually what the game looks like."

Apparently, Star Wars Battlefront is going to look so incredible when it's revealed this month that fans aren't going to believe that it's actual gameplay footage. At least, that's based on a recent tweet by lead level designer Dennis Brännvall who answered your question ahead of time.

"I'm going to answer a question in advance: Yes, that is actually what the game looks like," Brännvall said on Twitter earlier this month, in reference to the what he believes will be fan reaction to the gameplay that will be shown.

For those who aren't aware, EA will be hosting a panel at Star Wars Celebration on April 17 at 10:30am PT where they will debut the official reveal trailer for Star Wars Battlefront. In addition to the trailer, EA will also be showing off gameplay behind closed doors during the show at the official booth. And with nearly two years of build up, the bar has certainly been set high. Based on Brännvall's tweet, it sounds like DICE is up for the challenge.

Star Wars Celebration 2015 will be held at the Anaheim Convention Center in California from April 16 through April 19. Last week it was confirmed that Star Wars: Battlefront will be coming this holiday season to PS4, Xbox One, and PC. Its launch will coincide with release of the new film, Star Wars: Episode VII The Force Awakens, which will hit theaters December 18, 2015.
