Following yesterday's teaser, Electronic Arts has confirmed they will be revealing Star Wars Battlefront's Fighter Squadron mode during Gamescom this week.
The developer took to Twitter today, posting a brief 12-second clip of the highly anticipated mode which looks to involve strictly spacecrafts. EA has already confirmed Star Wars Battlefront won't have space combat, but dogfights involving the various ships will take place in the lower atmosphere of planets like Hoth, Tatooine, and Endor. This could be kind of cool as the different planets could provide debris you'll have to dodge.
While the full reveal will come Wednesday, August 5th, you can check out the 12-second teaser clip below.

The reveal of Fighter Squadron comes days after Electronic Arts shared the details of Blast Mode, a 10v10 team deathmatch in which the first team to 100 kills wins. Matches in Blast Mode are played on custom-made maps condensed with slight variations from the larger versions.
