Star Wars’ newest villain Kylo Ren to debut in Disney theme parks next month

Star Wars' newest villain Kylo Ren is ready for his theme park debut. Following his theatrical debut last month, the powerful dark warrior with a mysterious past will now appear across Disney parks in North America.

As detailed by Disney, Kylo Ren will soon roam the newly opened Star Wars Launch Bay at Disneyland park and Disney's Hollywood Studios. There you'll be able to meet the new villain on the bridge of his First Order Star Destroyer.  I'd imagine, given his bad temper and anger problems, you won't want to mention the whole Rey thing.

Kylo Ren isn't quite as iconic or intimidating as his inspiration, Darth Vader, but he still made quite an impression in The Force Awakens, showing off the power of the Dark Side in ways we've never seen before.

In addition to Kylo Ren, visitors who stop by the Star Wars Launch Bay might come across other characters, including First Order Stormtroopers and Chewbacca. Boba Fett sometimes stops by, and there are rumors Captain Phasma could also make an appearance eventually.

The portal from Star Wars Launch Bay to Kylo Ren’s Star Destroyer opens at Disneyland park and at Disney’s Hollywood Studios next month.
