LEGO showcased some of its upcoming sets at the Nuremberg Toy Fair, revealing one for the upcoming Star Wars spinoff Rogue One: A Star Wars Story.
Not much is shown of the set, but it does hint at the inclusion of one very surprising character — Boba Fett. Or, at least his ship's appearance.

Though the paint job looks a bit different, the ship appears to be the bounty hunter's modified Firespray-31-class patrol and attack craft. The Slave 1 originally belonged to Jango Fett, but came into Boba Fett's possession following his father's death during the Battle of Geonosis.
It's unclear exactly how the ship, or Boba Fett, fit into Rogue One, but there are some rumors suggesting that Felicity Jones's character is actually Boba Fett's daughter. Speaking of Felicity Jones, her costume — along with Diego Luna's, Donnie Yen's, and Jiang Wen's — was also on display at the Nuremberg Toy Fair in Germany.
In addition to Boba Fett, iconic villain Darth Vader is also rumored to appear in the film.
Rogue One: A Star Wars Story is the first film in the new standalone Star Wars Anthology — a series of spinoffs that expand upon the Star Wars universe. Set between the third (Revenge of the Sith) and fourth (A New Hope) films in the core Star Wars saga, Rogue One tells the story of resistance fighters who have united to steal plans to the dreaded Death Star. The highly anticipated film debuts in theaters on December 16, 2016.
