Star Wars: The Last Jedi To Have a Scene From Star Wars 9

Marvel-level sneak peaks?

Each of the new Star Wars movies is directed by different directors. But, with Star Wars: The Last Jedi, director of the unnamed Star Wars 9, Colin Trevorrow has requested an additional "something" to be added to The Last Jedi.

Speaking with the Happy Sad Confused Podcast (/Film), Trevorrow stated that he asked director Rian Johnson (The Last Jedi) if he would film an extra scene to relate to his following movie, to which he happily obliged. "There was one little thing. It wasn’t an adjustment, it was just ‘Could you shoot this one extra thing while you’re in this place on this day?’ And he did, which was great. But, y’know, it’s part of the collaborative process that exists – everyone is in communication.”

The initial thought is that it would be a post-credits scene, much like Marvel, another Disney property is known for. But this is Star Wars, this assumption isn't as open-and-shut as that. But what could it be? Maybe an Easter egg to tease the next movie? A tease in the film about the next movie? We'll have to wait and find out.
