Recently, GameZone published an article on how Star Wars: The Old Republic would take World of Warcraft's crown. One of the reasons we listed was the phenomenal and seemingly endless voice acting and now, that very voice acting, has led to the popular MMORPG receiving a Guinness world record.
EA worked to receive a record with the Guinness Book of World Records, and the company did just that. The official title of the record the game picked up is "Largest Entertainment Voice Over Project." The record will be a part of the 2012 Gamer's Edition, which has anything and everything to do with video game records.
