Reading various full year-end report might not be the most fun thing to do but sometimes game developers hide some sweet announcements in them, such as the announcement of PAYDAY 3 being in development!
PAYDAY one and two follows the epic robbery adventures of Dallas, Hoxton, Chains, and Wolf, people whose heists become more and more elaborate as the games grow older. PAYDAY 2 is still getting a whole lot of love from Starbreeze and Overkill in the form of both free and paid DLC. More characters and missions have added plenty on to this surprisingly lore heavy game, and soon enough fans of the franchise will be getting a whole new installment of PAYDAY.

I’d like to especially clarify, that this project will enjoy as much time as we deem needed. It will be done when it’s done. This is our single most important brand today and the cornerstone of our business and we will treat it accordingly. Updates in the near future might be scares and far between. You simply don’t rush PAYDAY 3"
If past games are anything to go by then PAYDAY 3 will be just as much four player co-op fun as the past games. One thing we do know for sure is that Starbreeze is planning on letting PAYDAY 3 stay in development for as long as it needs to to make sure that whatever gets released is quality content.
