Steam adds a new “Recently Updated” section

In the latest update to Steam, Valve has added a new section to Steam's Store Page called "Recently Updated." The section highlights games that have new updates, features and content. The tab will expand to show all of the newest updates for all games in the Steam store, but you have the option to show updates just to games you own.

The section also gives developers a way to communicate with gamers about their game and updates — allowing them to talk about their latest update. Tom Bui of Valve said, "The more options developers have for communicating about their products, the better it is for everyone. With this new product section and corresponding developer tools, customers can more easily discover products that provide ongoing value and involvement from the developers."

This section should do a good job of highlighting changes to games that you might not have played in a while. Because new games and stuff.
