Steam and Humble Store discounting big Bethesda titles in celebration of Quakecon

If you were planning on picking up the Skyrim: Special Edition, here's a cheaper workaround

Quakecon 2016 officially got underway today, and earlier we were treated to the first official gameplay trailer for Prey, but apparently, that's not all Bethesda has in store for us. Steam and the Humble Store are currently running (mostly) identical sales on major Bethesda brands, including some of the companies most recent game. Here's a look at some of the highlights:

DOOM – 50% off – $29.99

Fallout 4 – 50% off – $29.99

The Elder Scrolls Online: Tamriel Unlimited – 50% off – $19.99

The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim – 50% off – $9.99

Wolfenstein: The New Order – 50% off – $9.99

Dishonored: Definitive Edition – 40% off – $11.99

The Evil Within – 50% off – $9.99

For the full list of games on sale, you can head over to Steam here and the Humble Store here.

It's also worth noting, for you gamers out there with the Skyrim: Special Edition on your radar, that if you are planning on picking it up, it's actually a better (and cheaper) idea if you buy the Legendary Edition on sale right now. The Special Edition is due to be full price on release ($60), but if you own the Legendary Edition on Steam, you will get the upgraded Special Edition completely free when it becomes available.

I'm not a math whiz, but I know enough to know that $26.65 quite a bit less than $60. Just a tip.
