PC master race, indeed! Valve has announced that Steam now has 75 million active users, up from the 65 million announced in October.
The news comes via a tweet by Hot Blood Games CFO Dave Oshry who is currently in attendance at the Steam Dev Days conference. For those unfamiliar, this is a conference for developers only. It allows them to learn more about developing for Valve platforms, including the relatively new Steam Machines, without the pressure from press hounding them with questions. According to Tinybuild Games, each developer will receive a Steam Controller along with a Gigabyte Steam Machine "for development and not Ebay."
Also announced during Dev Days was the release window for Alienware's own Steam Machines, which were first talked about at CES last week.
