The Steam Database (SteamDB) site was updated yesterday with a ton of 'hidden' Valve games. This update revealed a number of unconfirmed and unannounced Steam accessible games like the highly anticipated Half-Life 3 and Final Fantasy X/X-2 HD. The list of games was generated after a cheeky SteamDB user named Nephrite found a method to locate hidden Steam games.
Once the method was applied to Steam, SteamDB was updated with information straight from Valve. It should be noted that third-party Steam developers can create and name their own apps, which means that while some of these games might see an upcoming release on Steam, others might be placeholders or games that had development shutdown.
On top of that, many of the games revealed could be old entries and no longer in development or coming to Steam.
A majority of the games revealed by SteamDB can be found on various gaming platforms – except on the PC. The games listed below could very well be seeing a PC release in the future, but nothing is verified at this point.
