Good ol' Ken Levine — you know, the creator of BioShock Infinite (yea, THAT game) — is back at work. Not long after releasing what some consider to be the greatest game of our generation, Ken is writing for a new game. Or, he could be writing additional story as DLC for BioShock. Either way, this is according to Twitter post today in which Levine wrote: "Game writing this afternoon. This is something else."
I haven't quite figured out what that second part means, though I assume he's referring to it being something different than what we're used to with BioShock. In a follow-up post, Levine detailed a few sources for his inspiration: Mad Men, Paul Thomas Anderson (There Will Be Blood), the Coen brothers (No Country for Old Men), Steven Soderbergh (Ocean's 11) and, of course, games.
So what do you think: a totally new game or just new content for BioShock Infinite? I'm excited for either one.
