The yearly gaming marathon for charitable goals has kicked off yesterday on Twitch and is going to continue the whole week. This year’s Summer Games Done Quick or SDGQ marathon will again feature plenty of games professional players have mastered. Make sure to check out the event schedule. There’s definitely going to be several runs you’ll want to watch.

Games Done Quick or GDQ has become the premier charity event for and by gamers since its first show in 2010. The noble endeavor to combines the masterful and skilled playthroughs from pro-speedrunners who have made it their goal to finish a game as fast as possible and give a platform for charitable viewers around the globe to donate money for real-life charities like Prevent Cancer Foundation or Doctors Without Borders.

The whole event is being broadcast live right now on Twitch for everyone interested in watching high-level gameplay and giving money to groups helping people in need. This year’s SGDQ aims to raise as lot donation money as possible for Doctors Without Borders. What’s really nice about GDQ events is that the entirety of donations will reach the charity.
