Super Smash Bros. 3DS to receive Prima strategy guide

Super Smash Bros. 3DS won’t be playing second fiddle to the Wii U version of the game; in fact, it will receive a Prima strategy guide all its own.

The guide, currently available for pre-order on Amazon at $18.62, will feature character analyses and breakdowns, as well as overviews and tips for the game’s many special modes such as the 3DS-exclusive Smash Run. Nintendo has yet to confirm a guide for the Wii U version of the game.

Prima has also partnered with the big N to create hardcover strategy guides for Hyrule Warriors and Bayonetta 2, so it comes as no surprise to see them support what Nintendo has called a pillar of the Wii U’s marketing campaign. Given the vastly expanded character customization of the new SSB, the guide is a welcomed bag of information.

Super Smash Bros. 3DS and its Prima guide will release October 3.
