Last month, Nintendo announced Diddy Kong as a playable character in the new Super Smash Bros. for Wii U and 3DS. Earlier today, the game's director Masahiro Sakurai shed some more light on the character, revealing his Peanut Popgun will "really blow your enemies away."
"The Peanut Popgun now deals a powerful attack when it explodes. It'll be difficult to hit your target, but when you succeed, the explosion will really blow your enemies away. Give it a shot when you break someone's shield."
I personally like how the new Super Smash seems to be emphasizing accuracy as opposed to straight-up button mashing. Not that it'll actually make a difference in how bad I am.
Sakurai posted a teaser image of the Wii U version of the game alongside the Popgun description, making the wait for the new Super Smash all the more painful. Seriously, when will we get a release date?!
