On Tuesday, April 8, Nintendo will host a new Nintendo Direct presentation focused on solely on the new Super Smash Bros. The presentation begins at 6:00pm ET/3pm PT and will "provide new details on Super Smash Bros. for Wii U and Nintendo 3DS," Nintendo says.
As reported last month, Nintendo is skipping out on PAX East next week, so hopefully this presentation fills the void of Nintendo's absense from the event. I'm sure we'd all prefer hands on time with Nintendo's games, but some new information — hopefully a release date — is also welcomed. Nintendo has slowly trickled out details about the game, such as stages and playable characters, but I think we're at the point where fans need to hear a release date. Hopefully, Nintendo isn't saving that for E3.
As always, we'll provide in-depth coverage of the presentation as the news unfolds.
