Breaking up is hard to do, but you gotta get back on that horse, kiddo! If SuperBot was asking me for relationship advice, that's what I'd tell them. No one is asking me for any advice, though. Regardless, SuperBot Entertainment, the developer behind PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale, has found its rebound.
SuperBot's director of operations David Yang told Edge Online that the team is working on a new project. Yang said, "We have substantially shrunk down our operations but are still going strong while we work on a new IP."
There's no word on what that new IP is, but I think it's safe to say that it won't be with Sony. After developing exclusively for Sony and releasing PlayStation All-Stars, in January 2013 Sony confirmed layoffs to SuperBot and that their "working relationship" had ended.
Once more is known about SuperBot's new IP, you can bet that we'll update you. In the meantime, make sure you use protection, SuperBot.
