Survive Fallout 4’s wasteland with a cold Nuka Cola Quantum from Jones Soda

Last week, Bethesda and Carlsberg announced Fallout Beer, a new alcoholic beverage inspired by Vault-Tec Industries arrives just in time to enjoy alongside the upcoming Fallout 4 game. Unfortunately, the drink is exclusive to the UK and, because it's alcoholic, obviously only available to those of legal drinking age in the country (18 in the UK).

What about the rest of us thirsty vault dwellers?

For us, Bethesda has just announced Nuka Cola Quantum. The drink of choice in Fallout 3, Nuka Cola Quantum is now being created by Jones Soda and will be available for purchase starting November 10th exclusively at Target.

The new drink has been designed to look identical to the one in Fallout 3, and while not healthy, I doubt it's as unhealthy as the one marketed in 2077. For those new to Fallout, Nuka Cola was invented in 2044 and quickly became the drink of choice in America. In 2077, a new version, Nuka Cola Quantum, was invented with twice the calories, twice the carbohydrates, twice the caffeine, and twice the taste. And to give it an extra kick, it included the mildly radioactive strontium isotope (and an 18th fruit flavor – pomegranate). Not only did it boost your energy, but glowed bright blue (perfect since research indicated that blue was the favorite color for 86 out of 100 people polled).

Now, I don't know the exact ingredients of Jones' Nuka Cola Quantum, but I'm pretty sure you don't have to worry about your urine glowing. I'm sure there's a lot of sugar in it, though, for whatever that's worth.

So if you find yourself thirsty with excitement for Fallout 4, be sure to stop by Target on November 10th for your very own ice cold Nuka Cola Quantum.
