Take a look at the canceled Batman: The Dark Knight game

Back in June of 2008, when Christopher Nolan's Batman: The Dark Knight released featuring Christian Bale as Batman, Heath Ledger as the Joker, and Gary Oldman as James Gordon (not to mention Michael Caine as Alfred), there was another Dark Knight in development — the game.

Prior to being purchased and shutdown by EA in 2009, Pandemic Studios – the developers behind Star Wars: Battlefront (2004) – had been hard at work developing a Batman: The Dark Knight game to tie-in with the film. The game was planned to release in the summer of 2008 alongside the film, but unforeseen circumstances delayed the game and being acquired by EA didn't help with the situation either.

Pandemic's game was ultimately shutdown in October 2008, after being rendered unplayable by a new game engine, leaving EA footing a bill of $100 million. Shortly after canceling the game, EA shut down Pandemic studios on Christmas Day.

The game was planned to feature voice over work by nearly the entire main cast of the film, including Christian Bale, Gary Oldman and Michael Caine. Get the details courtesy of Unseen64 below:
