Take to the Underground in the New Expansion ARK: Aberration

ARK: Survival Evolved is loaded with content. With a controversial release of an expansion (Scorched Earth) before the game was even released in full and countless content updates, the game is pretty massive. After two years of Early Access, the game had finally released in its entirety at the end of August. But that doesn't mean Studio Wildcard is done developing for ARK.

The game will be getting a second expansion in October. Aberration, as it's being called, will be available to season pass holders as well as a standalone purchase. It takes place on a derelict, malfunctioning underground Ark with its own biome system. We've never seen a mostly underground environment in Ark before.

The new expansion includes radioactive sunlight, strange cave-dwelling beasts and the introduction of a new monstrosity called the Nameless. The nameless fears the light, but thrives in the dark, making lighting that much more important.

Aberration will add over 50 Engram items including hazmat suits, explosive ammo, glow sticks and other useful cave-diving items. It is currently set for release in October for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC.
