Tales from Space: Mutant Blobs Attack lands on Steam this month

Tales from Space: Mutant Blobs Attack was heralded as one of the best games on the Vita at the start of the handheld platform's life cycle. You could even make the argument that the game remains one of the best offerings on the portable to this very day.

Now, though, Mutant Blobs Attack is getting new life on Steam. The game will feature Steam Achievements, cloud saving, and leaderboards. Additionally, you'll have the choice of playing using a controller or mouse-and-keyboard combination.

Probably the most noteworthy enhancement is the collection of updated mini-game stages which have been tailor made for the PC. That's awesome news, and it's great to see this acclaimed downloadable title given the opportunity to reach a wider audience.

Watch out for the Steam version of Mutant Blobs Attack on August 19. To get an idea as to just how awesome the game is, check out our review of the Vita version by GameZone's Mike Splechta.
