Three months after the premiere episode of Tales from the Borderlands was released, Telltale Games and Gearbox are finally ready to continue the story with the release of episode two, Atlas Mugged. According to Telltale Games, the episode is expected to be available sometime during the week of March 17 for PC, Xbox One, PS4, Xbox 360, PS3, Android, and iOS. Of course, the specific dates tend to vary by platform, so we'll be sure to keep an eye out for the exact dates when they are confirmed.
Tales from the Borderlands is an episodic adventure set on the world of Pandora. Taking place after the events of Borderlands 2, players control two characters throughout the season: Rhys, a Hyperion 'suit' with dreams of being the next Handsome Jack, and Fiona, a Pandoran con artist looking to score her biggest ever swindle.
Here's a brief setup for the events you'll encounter in Episode 2 of Tales from the Borderlands. Hopefully you remember everything that happened three months ago.
In this second episode of the season, 'Atlas Mugged,' the discovery of the Gortys Project fuels a madcap race to find just what the Atlas Corporation was up to prior to Hyperion's take over of Pandora. Our intrepid heroes are not the only ones on the trail. Vault Hunters, Bounty Hunters, Vasquez, and a giant monster thing with a mouth that looks like a… well, you'll see… are all in pursuit. And to complicate matters, Rhys is being haunted by visions of a dead despot AND what Vaughn looks like without his shirt on. Can Fiona and Sasha hold everything together? That's up to you.
