Target sweetens Xbox One Titanfall Bundle with free year of Xbox LIVE Gold

Did the recent Xbox One price drop and a free copy of Titanfall still not persuade you to go out and buy Microsoft's new console? How about a free year of Xbox LIVE Gold to sweeten the deal? That's exactly what one retailer is doing.

Target is currently holding a special offer that throws in a 12-month Xbox LIVE Gold subscription with you purchase. Normally, the bundle includes just one month of Xbox LIVE Gold.

So let's recap: the Xbox One launched at $499. About three months later, they lowered the price by $50 to $449. Then they added a free copy of Titanfall into the mix (a $60 value). And now, we're getting a free year of Xbox LIVE Gold (an additional $60 value). Oh yea, and with a Target RED card you can save an additional 5% on your purchase.

Currently, Target is the only one holding this special offer, but it's possible other retailers will follow suit.
