Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2 finds its new Shredder

Brian Tee has reportedly been cast as Shredder in the upcoming Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2, a new report from Variety claims.

Tee, no stranger to comic book-based films, having played Noburo Mori in 2013's The Wolverine, takes over from Tohoru Masamune. Masamune played the famous Turtles archnemesis in the 2014 film that rebooted the live-action franchise and brought in more than $485 million worldwide.

Tee joins a star-studded cast that already includes Megan Fox (April O’Neil) and Will Arnett (Vern Fenwick), as well as newcomers Stephen Amell (Casey Jones) and Tyler Perry (Baxter Stockman). It's being directed by David Green.

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2 is scheduled to hit theaters on June 3, 2016.
