It was recently discovered that Telltale Games' Batman: The Enemy Within used a photo of the Russian ambassador to Ankara lying dead on the floor, just moments after he had been assassinated in December 2016.
Telltale has not given a reason as to how or why the image made it into the final version of the game, but they have come out to say that they are removing the image from the game.
"An update to the game has been submitted this morning that will be removing the image across all platforms." it said in a statement to Gamasutra. "We regret this incident occurred, and we are taking appropriate action internally to ensure that we continue to maintain our high standards in Production and Quality Assurance."
At least they didn't ignore it.
