Telltale’s Game of Thrones still on track to release this year

Telltale Games' video game adaptation of Game of Thrones is still on track to premiere later this year. Despite a lack of information for the game, the studio's PR manager Laura Perusco confirmed the release window on Twitter.

Perusco warned fans not to believe everything they read on wikis regarding the game, but did confirm that a Q4 release is planned. Telltale Games tends to have very short lead time between when they announce a release date and the game actually releases, so even though we're almost in November, there's no reason to panic.

Telltale has been tight-lipped regarding their new series, only releasing bits of quotes from various books in the A Song of Ice and Fire series. Aside from it not being a prequel, not much is known about the video game adaptaion. We do know, however, that series creator George R.R. Martin's personal assistant is helping consult with the story.
