More Xbox 360 games have come to the Xbox One backwards compatibility program, though admittedly ones that already exist as Xbox One titles. Telltale's The Walking Dead, Season 1, Season 2, and Michonne mini series' Xbox 360 versions are now playable on Xbox One. While Microsoft and Telltale have already released visually superior Xbox One versions of these games, those who didn't upgrade can now play their games on modern consoles.
The news was revealed by Xbox's Major Nelson on Twitter:
Telltale's Season 1 of The Walking Dead is what launched the studio's reputation into the stratosphere and is the reason why they have been able to produce Mega IPs such as Minecraft, Batman, and Guardians of the Galaxy in more recent years.
In other Telltale news, the studio is in the midst of porting over Guardians of the Galaxy and Batman to the Nintendo Switch and recently revealed that they are finally making a second season of The Wolf Among Us. Their Walking Dead series will also be wrapping up next year in a Clementine-focused season that will release next year.
