Telltale teases Game of Thrones: Episode 3 ‘The Sword in the Darkness’

Telltale Games appears to be readying the release of Game of Thrones: Episode 3 'The Sword in the Darkness,' if a tweet by the developer is any indication.

Telltale tweeted today the first teaser image for The Sword in the Darkness, the third of six planned episodes for the first Game of Thrones season. The developer also promised that the episode "is coming," but who knows when that'll be. Hopefully sooner rather than later as it has already been a month since the release of Episode 2 'The Lost Lords’.

The teaser comes just hours after Telltale's PR Director Job Stauffer tweeted that we should be getting a sneak peek. Assuming this image isn't that peek, we should expect a trailer or perhaps some screenshots for the upcoming episode.

Like all of Telltale's games, Game of Thrones is following the episodic release format. After getting off to a hot start with Episode 1, things slowed down a bit in Episode 2, though it was still entertaining. Episode 3 will presumably pick up again as the members of House Forrester are starting to find themselves in hot water.
