Terminator 6 will “ignore” Genisys says Arnold Schwarzenegger

As the Hollywood assembly line chugs on, films that flame out apparently get swept under the rug as if they never existed. That's apparently what will happen with Terminator Genisys says, Arnold Schwarzenegger who told TheTerminatorFans.com at an event in the UK. The upcoming Terminator 6, which is serving as something of a reunion for Schwarzenegger, Linda Hamilton, and James Cameron, will "ignore Genisys," which ended a lackluster run as a box office failure.

The Austrian actor also revealed that the film won't be called Terminator 6 and that Robert Patrick, who played the T-1000 in Terminator 2: Judgement Day will not be involved with the movie. Also, Linda Hamilton, who has been confirmed to reprise her role as Sarah Connor, is already in training to get in shape for the film.

While James Cameron is heavily involved with the project, it is actually Deadpool director, Tim Miller who will helm the movie. With all of these big names being thrown around at the front of the project, it would appear as though there is more pressure than ever on the Terminator franchise just to keep it afloat. If Terminator 6 (or whatever it ends up being called) doesn't come through, it could be a while before the machines rise again.
