The Amazing Spider-Man, which we reviewed and scored a three out of five stars, did more things good than it did bad in the superhero reboot. Andrew Garfield played Peter Parker and Spider-Man different enough from Tobey Maguire that I enjoyed the character more. Spider-Man should be making wise-cracks at criminals. The problem was that it was another origin story that followed the same plot of a Spider-Man series that just wrapped up in 2007.
If you enjoyed the movie and can't wait for the sequel, you'll be happy to know that The Amazing Spider-Man is releasing on Blu-ray and DVD on November 9 in a set that comes with over 90 minutes of extras and a 3D viewing option for those with 3D TVs. If you're planning on picking up the movie, there are a few different option for the release.
Disc 1: 2D Blu-ray
Disc 2: 2D Blu-ray
Disc 3: DVD feature film
