The Behemoth reveals Game 4

The Behemoth, developers of Battleblock Theater, have announced their new game. It's called Game 4 and, well, I'm not really sure what to think. It sounds… interesting, but there's really not much to go off of by the trailer or description.

"Shortly before the release of BattleBlock Theater we started working on something new," The Behemoth wrote. "We schemed up a bunch of concepts and picked our strongest one. From there we fleshed out the lone survivor prototype!!! As it grew stronger and stronger, we polished it, furnished it with delights, and added (gluten free?) sprinkles. Yes, as the chicken dictates, this game is of a genre we haven't covered before and seek to breathe a new flavor into. Maybe you can find a hint in the video about which genre it is??"

Based on the hexagons that keep appearing, I'm going to guess that it's some sort turn-based strategy game. There also appears to be some tie-ins with Battleblock Theater including the return of narrative king Will Stamper, and what looks like Cosmic Bear, which appears at the end of Battleblock.

At this point, there's still a lot of questions to be answered, including what platforms Game 4 will be available on, but we should find out soon as The Behemoth plans to offer the first playable demo at PAX Prime later this month.
