The Division teaser promises a look at ‘what powers a true next-gen game’

Ubisoft has released a new teaser trailer for The Division, the studio's intriguing online shooter which was first revealed at E3 earlier this year.

For those unfamiliar, The Division is set in New York a few weeks after a pandemic sends the world into chaos. Gameplay consists of squad-based, drop-in/out multiplayer with emphasis on both co-op and PvP.

In the teaser, Ubisoft promises us a look at "what powers a true next-gen game," while giving us a brief glance at some in-game footage that will likely be expanded upon on December 9 when they give us an in-depth look at the new Snowdrop Engine.
