The Elder Scrolls Online Likely To Be Upgraded for Project Scorpio

Yesterday, The Elder Scrolls Online: Morrowind was released worldwide. Bethesda seems to be moving on to another next project: Project Scorpio support.

Currently, The Elder Scrolls Online can run 4K on PlayStation 4 Pro and this can also be expected on Project Scorpio. In an interview with Finder, game director Rich Lambert confirms this.

"I think we’re going to be in for the same kinds of things (with the Project Scorpio version) that we did with the PlayStation 4 Pro. So visual stability will be up there. We’ll probably have the same types of visual bells and whistles. As for what Microsoft is going to release, I don’t know. I haven’t really spent any time trying to dig through what they’re doing. I’m sure they’ll have something (at E3), but as it relates to exactly what I’m focused on right now, I don’t know.”

Given the specs on the PlayStation 4 Pro compared to Project Scorpio, the possibility is no longer a question, but rather a matter of work. Project Scorpio will be fully revealed at E3 2017, and with it hopefully, Bethesda has more to say about their MMORPG.
