The Flash and its fellow CW network shows have received a lot of news this week, and it keeps going with news that Solovar will be featured in a two-part mini-story featuring Gorilla City in Earth-2 according to TV Line.
Solovar is a telepathic Gorilla just like Grodd and he is the leader of Gorilla City. He is also Grodd's main nemesis in the comics. In season two of The Flash when Barry defeated Grodd with Harrison Wells' help, he was sucked through the time breach into Gorilla City itself. Solovar will be voiced by Keith David, who has voiced many roles including Admiral Anderson in the Mass Effect series. It's unknown how Barry and Solovar will interact with each other seeing as they are both rivals with Grodd. As they say, the enemy of my enemy is my friend.
The Flash has been renewed for another season along with Supergirl, Arrow, and Legends of Tomorrow. Black Flash is also returning to The Flash and the Arrowverse along with a brand new Supergirl/Flash crossover with the Music Meister. The Flash returns from its mid-season layover Tuesday, January 24th at 8 PM.
