In what is sure to be an emotional tear-jerker of a movie, we've gotten the official international trailer for The Impossible — the true story of a family that endured the 2004 tsunami that affected hundreds of thousands of lives. At a Thailand resort the day after Christmas, Ewan McGregor, Naomi Watts and their three sons get separated when a wall of black water engulfs their resort. Over the toughest hours of their lives, they endure to find and show compassion to tens of thousands of strangers as they search for each other.
Watch the trailer, and try to convince yourself that you won't cry a bit if you see the movie. That's the goal of the movie.
The Impossible opens in the US just in time for Christmas — December 21, 2012.
